part of his portion on health care was espousing how great the Mass Health Debacle is.

Yes. He called the Laura Ingraham show, presumably to drum up support among national Republicans, and said that -- I almost choked. Leads me to think maybe he's just not that bright (not that Martha Coakley is any mental giant!).

Amen - great analysis! You wrote the mantra for this election: "He needs to turn this into a single issue election: HIS single vote against the bill. Period. Nothing else matters today. And quite frankly, I will live with his RINO BS afterwards until the next election."

I could not have said it better!!! Great posting!!! I would only like to point out to the voters in MA and the rest of the country that you best believe that you, your family , your loved ones are totally unsafe from terrorist attack with POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat ilk in control of the USA federal government. His remarks yesterday concening both the terrorist attack on NWA and the revolt activity now taking place in Iran were not worth a plug nickel. Worse, though, was the remark of his Homeland Defense Secretary made on the Sunday TV News shows that her system of protection from terrorist attack working just peachy. If you believe her then you must be doing drugs or drinking the left-wing Kool Aid. Fact is, under Obama, Americans, you need to be afraid, very afraid for yourselves, your children and your grandchildren. Both my brain and heart know what is coming, and it is not good!!!! I can only suggest that you, the voters of MA, voters of all political stripes vote for Scott Brown in the special Senate election coming on January 19th. The defeat of Martha Coakley will deny Obama another weak sister and will send him and the Democrat Party a zinger he will not soon forget!!! Your lives and your futures could be at stake!!!

I had not heard that. Gov Johanns wanted to challenge Nelson in 2006? That would have been a good race. Though ‘06 was a disastrous year so I suspect Nelson would have been favored anyway. Maybe we would have been better off if Nelson had won when he first ran in 1996. Then we wouldn’t have had “maverick” Sen Hagel. When Ben ran for reelection in a good Republican year of 2002 he could have been defeated then.

As I recall, when Nelson did win in 2000 it was by a very narrow margin. What a shame.

And they wonder why I will not give them a dime.

You know, I don't think it even matters. I'm convinced that the Left, Soros, etc. funds both parties.

Via Wikipedia: Nelson was thought to be in danger of losing his seat in 2006, as it was thought his successor as governor, Mike Johanns, was almost certain to run against him. However, that speculation ended when Johanns was appointed U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. With Johanns' move to Washington, few high-profile Republicans stepped up to run against Nelson, as the state party focused its attention on the governor's race. The Republican nomination was won by Pete Ricketts, a former TD Ameritrade executive.

Hold on now. He has already filed legistlation to cut and curb cost and benefits to Masscare. And he just blasted Coakley on the national plan http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2009/12/brown_health_ca.html

Look anywhere else in the country you have to run to the right to get elected. In Mass. you have to run to the left to get elected. Like Ronald Regan said agreeing with a friend 80% of the time and disagreeing with him 20% of the time dosen’t make him my enemy.

It really comes down to this - either a 60 - 40 Senate or a 59 - 41 Senate.

A 59 - 41 Senate has a good chance of killing ObamaCare.

I'm convinced that the Left, Soros, etc. funds both parties.

I think there is some truth to that, in that the funding operations of the Left promote candidates who can best disrupt their conservative opposition.

That’s it in a nutshell.

It’s only the game-set-match for the nation, no reason to pull out all the stops to win the seat, right?

The Stupid Party indeed.

This one can be won. It is the middle of winter. The Democrats will not come out to vote in a snowstorm. I would risk my life to vote against a Democrat.

There is an Independent running named Kennedy. He will split some of the Democratic vote.

By his voting record, he is a consistent conservative. He is a long shot from a RINO. If any of you, regardless of what state you live in, want to actually DO something in addition to complaining, PM me and I will give you info so you can help make calls for Scott Brown from your own home. You will NOT have to ask anyone for money. This is to ask for support, direct people how to get more info, and to poll on one question. It is easy and I hate the phone!

I am a volunteer who is tired of constantly being upset at the political environment. It is better to actually act on it.

I have to disagree that the GOP does not want to win elections. They do but with the right candidate. From what I have read Mr Brown is (GASP) honest and conservative. Lordy that kind of politician could upset the applecart. They like their Democrat cousins need people that are easly influnced and can be corrupted to their standards. A pox on both of their corrupt houses.

I wrote something similar upon receiving the last donation request return form they mailed to me. I haven’t received another one since.
