Baucus: Was He Drunk, Or Is He Stupid?Based on my observation of liberals, I'd say that he is/was both. Additionally, while he may now be sober, there is no cure for 'stupid'.

I could only take about one minute of his rant. He sounded pretty much like he was in the bag.

Click on the image below to see the video for yourself. Very clearly drunk.

That first minute was when he slurred many of his words. As the tirade went on his speech became much clearer and sounded normal to me. Hard to straighten up like that if you are drunk.

You got a point, maybe Baucas will get his ACORN friends to help him steal his seat in 2014.

I wouldn’t rule out “stupid,” but he’s sure as heck drunk.

Our leftist local newspaper reports:
"Baucus, whose public speaking style can be halting and awkward, is not slurring his words, but sometimes repeats himself during the five-minute video."
And Baucus, who has a hangover, sent his spokesman out to say, ""This is beyond the pale, and this type of gutter politics has no place in the public sphere," --Baucus spokesman Ty Matsdorf.
You know what I think is beyond the pale? The president of the United States, who waited 3 days to even comment on the crotch bomber; and then, he blames the Bush administration for it happening! At least Bush had the balls to DO something after 9-11; and he never once blamed bj clinton for it happening...even tho I did.
