We bought a 25 year old tractor and that cost over 2000 dollars (over 20 years ago) Old tractors are easy to find and hold up but large equipment for corn and such is not that easy to find...
I recently ran into a neighbor from the farm (sold it 18 years ago) and met her at one of my granddaughters soccer games (semi-finals). That old tractor is still being used by her hubby, she said he babies it and son's grew up driving it...
I remember her kids as little ones...they have given her grandchildren...wow how time flies..
Well, it worked so well in Zimbabwe...
Just like rural farms, there needs to be protection from critters. In rural areas, it’s deer, rabbits, and groundhogs. In the city, it’s two legged critters.
