Probably even fewer think it's fair that they have to take off their shoes, endure delays and madness while a known Islamic radical — turned in by his own father — can waltz onto a plane (and into the country). DHS had no role whatsoever in assuring that this bomb didn't go off.

Now, they’ll be strip searching Grandma. My father, a veteran of WWII and Korea, was asked to take his shoes off when he was 81 years old and a year before he died. He could barely walk and they ordered him to take off his shoes. My brother had to help him because Dad was so weak. Behold national security. No profiling; don’t want to insult Middle Eastern terrorists. Harass Grandma and Grandpa and infants instead.
How racist am I? Since 9/11, I have taken note of the presence, seat location, and activities of anyone with whom I am flying who appears to be Muslim. At this point, I will no longer fly with anyone who appears to be Muslim. I’ll pay the change fee or I’ll eat the ticket. I don’t have to fly. I’ll drive. Risking my life is not acceptable to avoid being politically incorrect and labeled a racist. I guess I am guilty of racial profiling. So be it.
