Interesting, but frankly, I’m still pessimistic. Frankly, I doubt that a coup would go over easily. The most likely outcome in my opinion if a coup was tried would be all-out civil war instead of quickly deposing the regime.

If the Army and Police stands behind the protest and floods Tehran (takes control of the government sites) with the regime collapse (taking refuge to other countries), the revolution will succeed.
