Remember “Lash LaRue?”
Cannon and Barnaby Jones. C’mon, a fat man and an old geezer? How about the Peter Falk series or even Mannix?
Yeah, but Cannon had a carphone - one of the first that was an integral part of the plot. And the Lincoln Mk IV was too cool!

Canon had a car phone because he had difficulty getting into a phone booth. He drove a Mark IV because is was big enough to carry his girth. Harry-O had an MG Midget that never ran so he always borrowed a Jag XKE from his nextdoor neighbor Farah Fawcett. Who would you rather look at fatboy Canon or Farah Fawcett? There is no comparison. Who wou
Two reasons I loved that show as a kid.
Well, hell - if we’re gonna do David Jansen, let’s dial up “The Fugitive” and “Richard Diamond, Private Detective.”
And then there is “77 Sunset Strip.”
I do share your like for “The Rockford Files.” I have the entire series on VHS. One of the greatest TV shows of all time.

Hollywood should flood their programming with MORE leftist propaganda, more bleeding-heart environmentalism, retreads of tired old standbys and PLENTY of gratuitous homosexuals in EVERY SHOW!
That's SURE to make everything better!
Here's hoping 2010 will be even better.
BUMP! BUMP!

“Remember Lash LaRue?”
You didn’t ask that of me, but I do. I don’t think I missed a Lash LaRue film when I was a kid.
Few do remember him, though.
Rockford was one of the best shows of any decade. I esp. enjoyed episodes with Angel. He was unreal. I am glad he wasn’t used every episode. I love the Fugitive as well. For the most part, I like every QM production. How about some Honey West with Richard Diamond?
