I think her point is that our activities don’t have nearly as much effect as the “warmists” claim. She knows what a mess can be made from her experience with the Valdez, but pollution is one thing, and what the warmists are saying is another.

Of course. Palin knows more about energy and climate in the North, permafrost and ice caps, than any other public figure on earth. Those who insist that "she is not ready" are ignoring reality. Algore --likewise Obammyboy--has proven himself scientifically illiterate, while Palin has years of on-the-ground experience dealing with complex energy issues.

Chalk up yet another win for Gov. Palin. I saw on BOR tonignht that a new polls shows that over 50 percent of people don’t believe in Global Warming and only 38 percent do, that’s great. Gov. Palin’s op/ed will be well received by over half the population, but you wouldn’t know that from the MSM which is trying to paint her as being on the fringe.
