It has taken less than a year to destroy this country as we knew and loved it.

The dominoes have been set up over decades. You're just seeing them starting to fall over.

Obama couldn't begin to do what he has done without a LOT of other things going wrong first.

The fact that we have hundreds, maybe THOUSANDS, who have sworn a sacred oath to defend the Constitution, yet today stand by and watch or PARTICIPATE in its destruction, means there has been a great deal of damage done before this year.

I may be in denial, but I just can't believe it will all go down without a fight.

It’s possible, even likely, that the destruction of our economy is already complete, and just not yet apparent. Nations that don’t like us much can now refuse to lend to us, buy only food and raw materials from us, and if effect, turn us into a resource rich “third world” nation.

If a freak epidemic, affecting only lying politicians, were to take out even a key hundred or so, we might recover.

Jesus will not let the violation of his bride go on any farther, he will defend his precious bride..... and his enemies will have hell to pay.

It won't, but it will be secession movements first.

It's all over but the screaming.

Now that’s something to pray for. That would definitely be a blessing.

Our biggest problem is a dumbed-down electorate, thanks to your government schools that indoctrinate leftism and abhor knowledge and critical thinking.

When hasn’t the electorate been “dumbed-down”? You think FDR won four times because voters were smarter at the time?

At least he beat Japan and helped beat Germany.

Well, our current 'commander in chief' may be done in 4 and lose the war(s). I don't like Socialism, but at least FDR was American.

Nice summary of our national problem. Only one typo, line 8 under item 5: “policies which will force the later to get in lockstep”
Should read “policies which will force the latter to get in lockstep”.

I don’t think voter stupidity is the problem; it is the voters’ self-absorption in which they want the youngest to afford the middle-aged a standard of living the youngest then won’t enjoy (see Europe for how this works); the lack of forethought is not ignorance, but deliberate. As a Christian, euthenasia is a frightening throw-back to Nazism; as a capitalist, I understand why the younger workers bearing these burdens should want everyone unable to work to be killed as quickly (and cheaply) as possible. Maintaining a false standard of living for their elders is denying them the means to have families (or expendable income) themselves.

The legalized discrimination via “affirmative action” destroyed this country long ago, creating a scenario where the only people I feel any connection to are those on the same side of the fence. When it is legal to use race & gender as the primary factor in hiring, promoting, educating, directing contracts, then you have basically ceased to represent the “others”. The alienation creates a group that has no stake in the larger scheme; I see no reason why an American of European or Asian descent could care less what happens to this country, outside of the narrow range that effects them personally. My local weekly paper contains information more important to me (road closings due to construction, local crime) than any national news organization.
