My point was that pressure can be put on the businesses there to help keep the area safe. In fact I'm sure that businesses there are already suffering because of this. If the hip-hop club is attracting the gang bangers the other businesses can put pressure on them by complaining to the liquor board and police. Or the whole place can go belly-up for all I friggin' care. If the taxpayers of Denver are too stupid to protect the millions their gov spent on the LoDo area then too bad huh?
I agree. I think that somehow they think that now that there’s been a black man elected to the White House, that it’s somehow going to change things or somehow give them the upper hand, like it’s payback time.
The problem is, the angriest black youth have had more freedom and opportunities than any of their ancestors ever did. There’s nothing in that way that would explain the hate because they’ve never experienced the kind of racism that existed in the past.

And this is exactly why there is a large portion of America embracing socialism.
To them its a chance of getting the riches albeit mostly in a smaller manner the riches of the white people, white people with the huge homes, white people with the Hummers, boats and vacation condos.
To them they think a socialized America means that they will be given money, given the bling and not expected to work for it.The rich will have to give their treasures to the inner cities.
And they will support ACORN and Obama as long as they believe their elected officials will deliver.
But they won’t and when realization settles in riots will happen. Now in the immediate future I would suggest not being anywhere that will invite danger and if you must take measures to protect yourself.

Did you read/hear about the OK woman that shot an intruder the other day? The audio of the 911 call was posted on here. It’s really hair-raising...anyway she told the 911 operator that she didn’t want to shoot him but she would kill him ‘graveyard dead’ if he broke in...and she did.
I carry the Smith on the property where concealment in not an issue. For other purposes It is a Para Ordnance P12. The P12 is also very reliable with proper maintenance. But on the whole revolvers are less prone to jams or misfires than semi autos.

In this particular area of Denver, the police are aware that there is a gang problem. Why the hell not have a plain clothes “sting operation”. Some cop acting as a drunk but with plain clothesmen ,and women of course, close by and watching.
