“I got mine from a blood transfusion as a teen. I know I had it for a fact in 1982 when I tried to give blood & they told me I had non A non B hep.”
I’ve had B and C and don’t know where I got them. I’ve been overseas and suspect that I may have picked them up over there. Hep C can lay dormant for years and then flare up. I did Chemotherapy for it and it wasn’t pleasant.
“I was going to try pegatron until my dr told me I would still be tired even if it worked. I decided that the side effects weren’t worth it.”
I did it and the effects were horrible. I was lucky enough to get into a study that was conducted by the drug company so I didn’t have to pay $2000 a month. Many of the people in the study quit after a few months because they just couldn’t take being so sick all the time. I was taking medicinal mushrooms also and within three months I was virus free. I was lucky.
Wait...why would you avoid female practitioners?
Sorry to hear about your sister. It is a nasty way to go. My mom contracted it from a blood transfusion after giving birth to me. Died 6 years later. It’s horrible.
Now I have a new gastro dr who is friends with my family dr & they both speak English. They don 't always agree with me taking milk thistle & mesosilver etc but IMHO it is working. My biggest feat is what the rifamprin & bactrim I've had to take have done to my liver. I think MRSA will kill me before the hep C does. What kind of mushrooms & where can you get them?
Thank goodness you have you nephew. My brother was a drug addict who died from hep C & who knows what else. I lost contact with him for few months. I went looking for him & I found his obituary online. For years we tried to get him help. But you can’t help anyone who doesn’t want to help themselves. Prayers for your family.
Thank you, you’re very kind.
I’m sorry to read about your brother. Sometimes the ones we care about do not care about themselves; they’re more like lost souls. Sadly, I’ve known more than a few of those. You have my deepest sympathy.
I have seen too many people who just couldn’t stop using drugs or alcohol. Two of my sons came from families like that. It is horrible to watch people destroy themselves & not be able to do anything.... They are indeed lost souls. I think not saying goodbye was the hardest part for me with my brother. I lost my Dad last year on Nov 12th, my sister the next month on Dec 12th. My whole family is gone & while I have my children it is so odd to be the only one left. Thank you for your kind words. You & your family are in my prayers...Pandy
