“Which side do you think will win?”

I pray it is us, but reality sets in and the following must be contemplated:

. Those in power today are going to pass a healthcare bill despite Republican and citizen opposition (they refuse input from outside sources). They will do it because it is the playing card they need to control the nation forevermore, not because it is right, ethical or needed. Canada is already there.

. Those in power today depend upon Cap and Trade and global warming schemes for their stash money (feeding SEIU, ACORN and their own political coffers). They will obligate Americans as part of their agenda. not because it disputed (which it is), legitimate (which it isn't), or because it is needed at this time.

. Those in power today are either elitists or figurehead of elitists and have armies at their disposal to silence opposition. What happened in Iran to naysayers is not past possibility in the regimes that espouse liberalism (at the hands of appointed cabinet members, czars and anti-American activists), socialism, communism and globalism.

. Those in power don't play by the rules. The US Constitution and Bill of Rights are negated by them and Immigration Law is unenforced, while the politics of corruption (Stimulus funds to non-existent districts for example) is prevalent. Politicians who cheat, abuse power and line their own pockets and give funds to organizations based on voter fraud and unsavory operation are not questioned, investigated or challenged.

. State run media is no longer a trusted source of news for citizens who demand a non-biased and accurate accounting of news. Americans overwhelmingly choose one network (Fox News TV), conservative AM radio talk shows, and the internet as the medium for learning the facts about what government media refuses to report. The alphabet news stations have lost all credibility, likely not to be easily, if ever, trusted again. Even their sitcoms are laced with "agenda" (such as green week and/or service to others week) propaganda.

We MUST get congress (and senate) leadership changed and we MUST get city and state politicians replaced if we are to save our nation and restore it to reflect our sovereignty, patriotism, respect for military, law enforcement, FBI, CIA, and Secret Service heroes and freedom for each of us as was written by our founders. We, the people, must work hard to save our nation from tyranny once again. Canada faces many of the same obstacles - we are truly "joined at the hip."

Bollards on the sidewalks on MacKenzie and Sussex would be just as effective and more visually attactive but would bring the center of the blast about 12 feet closer to the long sides of the Chancery building. Sussex really does need that lane, though. The Embassy RSO will have to weigh in on the risk.

Looking at Bing maps, there are already bollards on those sidewalks. Perhaps they just need to be made larger.
