Bambi’s candidacy, election, and presidency completely cancel the bogus “experience” issue; by any measure, relative to him, Sarah is WAY more qualified.

hey now

Obama lowered the bar so far. All Sarah has to do is jump over it and she could be President in 2013.

First we will have to get a metal detector to locate said bar in order to dig it up...

I understand your position. Cheney and Rummy and Bush were a powerhouse when our country needed this, few can dispute that. But frankly I cannot see anyone that fits even remotely that mold coming into view, and nobody has offered up a canidate that could thus far. Those who oppose her just do not have an alternative choice. JR brought this point in fact to one of the threads and he is exactly correct..”..then who”.

Additionally Sarah has certainly galvanized the base, that cannot be disputed either. For this reason I support her at this time. She does represent our conservative values and I believe, as with Bush ,who I wasn’t exactly nuts about, she is wise enough to choose those who will bring to the administration what is necessary to gain our country back. This is my position at this time and I continue to see Sarah more and more stand on her own.

Shouldn’t she be running for congress to build a resume and grow her experience?

No, she should not, it would be a waste of time and talent. She doesn't need legislative experience and she already has impressive executive credentials as well as private sector business experience.

Below is just a brief description of her achievements to date....

Sarah Palin made history on Dec. 4, 2006, when she became the first woman elected governor of Alaska. Her priorities were resource development, education and workforce development, public health and safety, and transportation and infrastructure development.

Under her leadership, Alaska invested $5 billion in state savings, overhauled education funding, and implemented the Senior Benefits Program to provide support for low-income older Alaskans. She created Alaska's Petroleum Systems Integrity Office to oversee maintenance of oil and gas equipment, facilities and infrastructure, and a Climate Change Subcabinet to prepare a climate change strategy for Alaska. Palin's administration passed major legislation that began a competitive process to construct a gas pipeline and overhauled state ethics laws.

Prior to her election as governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council, two terms as the mayor/manager of Wasilla and chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

To 24 - Again, What exactly could a President Palin not handle effectively? And please explain why she couldn't.

Please keep in mind that we are discussing her as a potential President not a pilot for TWA.

I shan't be answering anymore lest the inquisition purifies me.

It's not that you shan't answer but rather that you can't.
Please don't feel that you're being singled out. Many others have popped up and shouted out, "Palin is inexperienced", "Palin lacks gravitas", "Palin's far from being qualified to be President".
Yet, nary a one can tell us exactly what might occur that a President Palin could not manage, and manage effectively.

You ask the impossible, the illogical. Clearly, no one can know what Sarah will be capable of until she is tested, but hiring is about resumes and references. Sarah has a pieced-together degree in journalism and small town government experience. She may be George Patton in hot pants, but nobody in their right mind hires based on wishful thinking except liberals. I simply ask that she does what I would have to do, earn the interview.
