Read something yesterday that one of those folks acquainted with the perp told police he had mentioned the day before how he should pay attention to the news cause he was going to shoot some cops...but that fellow did not think enough about it to report it cause it was not unusual to hear things like that from folks.

Translated: Talking about shooting cops is common place in the Black community. I guess Rev. Wright's chickens (incendiary comments) are coming home to roost.

I remember a couple of years back the driver of a getaway car got the chair because the actual perp accidently shot someone during a bank robbery. I don’t think WA has the death penalty, correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, they have a death penalty. It’s not used very often. Can’t remember the last time a cop killer got the death penalty, though.
