It’s sad listening to the scanner - missing kids, shots fired, suicides, etc....

One good news, the husband of the lost 84 year old gal is heading over to the 7-11 to pick her up!

One other thought that cheers my mind is the thought of that scum bleeding out in a cold, dark trailer all alone. Trying to stay awake but the pain and the cold keeps bearing down on him.

That covers a broad range. The stuff from 148 to 647 is actually California Penal Code sections, used by most departments in the state. There’s a growing movement on to use plain language now, and Seattle’s doing that. It’ll become more common as departments move to encryption.
