Much like how if you pay for your child’s college education, they CHOOSE which college you shall pay for, and you have no right to intrude upon their right to do as they wish with your money.
The bottom line is...just being the funding for something doesn’t give you the right to tell them how the funds will be used.

This guy is my eye doctor. He is a real character and, indeed, does tell it like it is. I love the fact that he is unrepentant!

I agree with you. Was he telling the truth? Sure but it isn’t the place of the eye doctor to be delivering this lecture. Leave that for a GP.
