Let's restore civility to the debate on evolution and intelligent design

That may be the church’s position, but it’s nonsense. It is simply a way to dodge the issue. The ToE specifically and categorically rules out any design or designer. Any atheist will proudly tell you that. These churchs are conceding a debate they could win if they had the guts to engage in it, but instead they cower in the face of political correctness.

By the way, I understand that something like 54% of the Catholic vote a year ago was for Obama. I guess the Catholic Church is “evolving,” eh? Yeah, evolving into Planned Parenthood.
