The list I posted aggregates contributions to Obama by the organizational affiliation of the contributors.
The University didn't contribute the money. Rather, people employed by the University did. The same goes for the other entries in the list. When you contribute, you list your employer. OpenSecrets (and others) then download the data from the FEC and organize it different ways.
I was demonstrating the futility of avoiding Google for political reasons.
I know, I know....but Bing itself hasn’t been political, and Microsoft, unlike Google, hasn’t used the search engine to send explicit or implicit political messages. Besides, I bet Microsoft has given heavily to both sides, whereas I suspect that Google has given mostly to the Rat side. I don’t actually know that for a fact, I’m just guessing.
