I used to joke about how the wife had me go in for a tonsilectomy and came out hurting on both ends.;-D
If they wanted to do some real satire, they could have Reagan yucking it up for two minutes before starting his prepared text about the Challenger explosion. Etc.

Heh. My mom died a few weeks ago (she had a long life with a swift, merciful end) and while we were clearing out her place we found a pill bottle which contained a gallstone she must have brought home from surgery she had a few years ago. Looked sorta like a big green hairball. At least she never took it to show & tell, far as I know.
