“Here’s hoping she’s up and about really soon.”

I read in another article that she was on the phone reassuring other officers she was OK and trying to find out how many were hurt or killed shortly after she got out of surgery. Tough lady.

In the same article her mother was quoted as saying she was shot three times, once in the wrist and once in each leg. I think the “two wounds” in each leg were entrance and exit wounds. The surgery was for a damaged artery, I’m guessing femoral which would explain the tourniquet.

Thank goodness she got him before he killed many more.

Her neighbors described her as quiet and friendly.

In other words, the NYSlimes snooped around?

Holy smoke. This one wasn’t Hollywood, this one was toe to toe, shoot until somebody goes down. My unreserved admiration for the victor. God bless her and protect her.

Not to take anything away from her outstanding heroism, but she did put 4 bullets into the scum and he is unfortunately still breathing and wasting tax payer money keeping him alive. I am hoping that when she gets better, that she looks into carrying a different caliber - maybe one that starts with a 4. It might be a good idea to use hollow points also.

How sweet that it was a woman who brought this guy down and that he is going to live for his execution, thanks to her.

Sergeant Munley bolted from her car and shot at Major Hasan. He turned toward her and began to fire. She ran toward him, continuing to fire, and both she and the gunmen went down with several bullet wounds, Mr. Medley said.***

Woman has guts. Hope she is up and around soon. We need more like her in this world.

She was taking her car to a mechanic. She probably was ampled up in anticipation. ;-)

where she was reported in stable condition on Tuesday

Wow, they can see into the future. There is so much conflicting reporting about the situation, I can understand the frustration. There is such pressure to get an article out that I think some reporters might be making things up... not like that hasn't happened before.
