Looked to me as if he had to stall until the teleprompter was programmed and running!
He couldn’t find appropriate words by himself if you gave him a week...

Yeah, Mike Gallagher this AM said BamBam thinks he’s warming ‘up the crowd’, like he’s Arsenio Hall or something - WooWooWOO, etc. What a jerk.
If he doesn’t take the Presidency seriously, it’s hard to take him seriously.

” its hard to take him seriously. “
Oh, I take him *very* seriously - as seriously, at least, as a plague epidemic....

Its like, after you watch 9/11 on tv, then expect the president to come on national tv to talk about the incident. Instead he spend 3 minutes on something else, and youre wondering, um,, whats going on here, why isnt he talking about the Fort Hood incident. That 3 minute was surreal
At first, I thought they were replaying earlier remarks, and waiting for Obama to speak "Live". I was horrified when I finally realized this WAS Live.

Yesterday was a moment that clearly defined Barry.
It can’t be redone.
He had a chance to act ( in the theatrical sense ) like a man.
He could have pretended to understand what it means to be Commander in Chief.
Instead , he acted like a self aggrandizing and soulless
cold fish who couldn’t summon one ounce of sympathy for the dead and injured soldiers.
The White House will desperately try to undo the damage that Barry did to himself , yesterday.
His made a strategic mistake and allowed his true character to be revealed.
Shucking and jiving and shouting out while our soldiers blood was still warm on the floor .
He shows more emotion when his basketball has a leak.

the same today with his “statement”..”no decisions till the facts are in”..”don’t jump to conclusions”..then on to his healthcare bill..

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. Abraham Lincoln (1809 - 1865) Coming from Lincoln, that line is a down right hoot.

Great place to start that nonsense

It amazed me that he had to look down at a card to read the phrase “Ft. Hood”. He is so disconnected with the rest of the world that he is incapable of even the remotest degree of sincerity. It is appalling to me that he couldn’t look directly into the camera and speak from his heart to say that this was a terrible thing that just happened. He truly is completely unaffected by it.

I read that Dubya stayed in the classroom because the reading assignment was almost over. Therefore, there should have been a smooth exit withina minute or two. But, unfortunately, the teacher did not heed to the itinerary and continued well past the time allotted.
No man can please everyone, for most people think they know what is best in any situation... but I don't think the President staying in the classroom was wrong, especially under the circumstances as stated above.

No one said you couldn’t do it Brianiac. God help anyone question your appropriateness - especially on a thread that is completely based on judging the appropriateness of a response. Post what ever nonsense you want - looks a helluva worse on you than on me.
To: Hegewisch Dupa
LOL!
Not only are the thread monitor, you are now the judge of all that is appropriate.
Really, you are too much.

Yes that is exactly what I’m doing. Whomever is helping you read really needs more practice.
