It might appear excessive if there weren’t 30M people chasing 5M jobs.

Get a clue! It’s not as easy as “get a job”. 30M people are chasing 5M jobs. And there will probably be less than that once cap & trade and healthcare kick in.

I do have a clue. That is why we have worked hard not to be in debt at all and live within our means and save just incase we find ourselves there too. It is not free money, your greatgrand kids will be paying for what is being spent now.

The bubble continues, making the other part of the “W”, when it happens, more painful.

LOL

Kinda true in an odd bitter way.

Wonder what happens after 99 weeks

Gov can't just keep printing money for another 99 ad infinitum.

Something has to change somewhere somehow.

Soon we’ll all need a wheelbarrel for buying a loaf of bread!

Those who don't have buckets of hard red wheat and a hand grinder in their basement likely will.

Let’s see if I understand this correctly. I bought a house 10/30/09 and lived in my former house for five years. So I am now eligible for a $6500 tax credit?

Where are you finding hard red wheat? I’ve really been looking for some and would appreciate the info. :)

OK, then make your own job. Start a business. All I know is there is NO excuse for being on the government dole. Self reliance is what built America. If you are willing to work hard, you CANNOT FAIL in the USA. Too many people are not willing to do that. Why should I have to pay for the failures and failings of others? Altruism is for the weak. It helps nobody.

So 4 unemployed Utes sharing an apartment can have a combined income of $4800 per month, is that right? Sweet! Does that include a big-screen?

In states with unemployment rates of 8.5 percent and above

They are targeting blue states you see.
Red states have lower unemployment numbers.

Gotta keep their voters satisfied....why waste money on people in states that won’t vote for them anyway. Just let that kind of people pay the bill.

So most of them will get a big surprise April 15, 2010.

Just like the people who bought cars through the Cash for Clunkers are in for a surprise.

0bama is alienating everyone. America will wake up soon....or sink. There are going to be a lot of people heading to the life boats. There won’t be enough life boats. It’s going to get very ugly.
