If Sarah is not on the ballot in 2012, I’m writing her in.
What a disparaging remark about a man not here to defend himself! Jesse Helms was a man of principle, and whether one agreed with him on certain issues or not, the fact is that this nation's liberty would not be endangered in the manner it is today had Republicans remained as true to the Constitution as Helms.
Mitt Romney disapproved of Jesse Helms just as he disapproved of President Reagan, Romney dropped his Republican party membership in protest of President Reagan and his conservatism, he also spoke out against the Contract with America.
A young barely military age Mitt Romney joined his father in storming out on Goldwater at the 1964 convention. When Bill Clinton was running against President Bush in 1992, Romney was only giving money to liberal Democrat candidates and even conducted a democrat fund raiser himself. In 1994 Romney was fund raising for Planned Parenthood.
All of newtie’s wives have said he’s very short.
The same, I'm thinking, with Sean Hannity. I've listened to him over the last month sporadically, but as big as this story is, I can't remember one segment in which he endorsed Hoffman over Scozzafava prior to when a Hoffman win became obvious.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm sorely disappointed over it.
I'm saddened over Gingrich, because I think there was a time when he truly was a conservative. He's one who is worth restoring.
How to take back the academic world? Send conservatives into the new and the small universities and develop a counter-liberal tradition in the smaller, newer, or community colleges. They are reaching the bulk of the people.
Standing on the sidelines, hoping we forget they refused to take a stand.
I actually respect Newt more tan these two cowards, because as wrongheaded as he was, at least he had the courage to takes a stand and stick with it.
He was so instrumental in getting the Pubs to a majority I hate to see him so wrong.
The problem in 23 is there was no primary. A leftist, more left than the Rat, was given the nomination. The fact this happened highlights the problem of the local party leaders being out of touch with who they are working for.
If nothing else 23 has shown the GOP how critical it is to field real conservatives, or expect a challenge. My view is I will fight like heck in the primaries and support the nominee in the general election. The only caveat I have is the candidate in the general has to support more of what I believe in then not.
