Thank you for the photos. I am bit emotional and p.o. about the Ft. Hood issue and our current political state of affairs. I will keep politics off this thread and direct my focus to the pride I feel for those men and women serving our country and especially for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Mrs. Happydog should do just fine as three of her picks this weekend are J.J., Gordon, & Martin. Yes, I know, but she has special privledges. :)

No on the Oahu item but I’ve always wanted to visit the Missouri. We don’t care for Oahu and are normally just passing thru on our way to Kona. (Maui has direct flights from PDX which we take advantage of)

My sentimental now for Texas has to be Ryan Newman. (I don’t have him!) With the rememberance planned & Veteran’s Day coming up an Army car win would be sweet and appropriate.

I think the menu for the race tomorrow is hor-devours w/those little sausage thingies. T.B. tried to barbecue them once but gave up after they kept slipping thru the grill.
