I’m not a big Romney fan, but I’m glad he’s doing this. Normally, this race would be hopeless, but IMHO, Brown has an outside shot in the current political climate.

I guess Curt Schilling has no-bid the race.

They should save Schilling for the Gov. race.

OK...Mitt haters will now flood this thread. Just watch. Any reason conservatives here at FR should not show up?

Is this the same Mitt that just lied AGAIN about his RomneyCare stating they really weren't trying to lower costs?
And immediately, Freepers were able to dig up the quoate where he stated exactly the opposite during the time frame he was trying to pass this Monstrosity!
And you expect conservatives to just stand by while he tries to use situations like this to help him reach his goals of being the GOP Nominee for President in 2012?
Everything this turd does is staged. It is for effect only!
This is not a principled man and he certainly does not qualify as a leader.
For proof of that, just see the NY 23 affair where this coward didn't have the back-bone to endorse Hoffman.
What is with those who constantly throw around the "Haters" card?
Do you like acting like the spoiled left by using a false charge to try and shut down conversation?
Shame on you!

Mitt is an empty suit. He will say whatever he has to in order to get elected. He seems very insincere, too scripted.
Republican does not necessarily equal conservative. The New York election proves that voters don't have to accept Republican candidates that don't pass the smell test. They can override the party leaders by backing true conservatives. A vote for a conservative is still a vote against the democrats.
Plus, a man shouldn't spend that much time on his hair. Mitt is a John Edwards Republican. He's our own “Breck Girl”.

Here is a quote that shows what he considers "moderate".
"One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clintons dont ask, dont tell, dont pursue military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share."
Sincerely, W. Mitt Romney

That aside, it’s still good that he’s helping out the Brown campaign.

Nothing aside, Mitt Romney is the ultimate rino that is anti conservative and after switching from being a liberal activist he is now out to stop conservatism by working from within the GOP and possibly even taking control of it.

IMHO, Mittens should stay away. If any RINO is going to do any campaigning or open fundraising for SB, I’d say it should be Bill Weld. Not that I like Weld (I don’t) but he is generally more liked than Mittens; he may be of some help to SB. More help than Mittens, for sure.
Mittens is best kept in behind the curtain (except in UT and maybe NV) raising money for the GOP, which he does seem to have a knack for.

I have no problem what so ever if you are against Mitt.
I have no problem what so ever if we get a more conservative nominee in 2012. In fact I would prefer it.
My only problem is going against Regan’s 11th commandment.
Which means I will prefer ANY republican over ANY democrat.
Therefore I will vote for the winner of nomination fight on the republican side no matter who she/he is in November 2012.
In the primaries, go ahead and fight for your choice. I have no problem with that. But after that we better unite otherwise Zero gets another 4 years to screw up this country.

My only problem is going against Regans 11th commandment. Reagan never said that, it was someone else that was trying to get Reagan to not bash a rino.
freerepublic is an anti-Romney site, you cannot stop conservatives on a conservative site from bashing an anti-conservative liberal republican that is trying to destroy conservatism.
