She’s in grave danger and the court knows it.

She’s a minor who has a history of connecting with adult strangers via the internet, and succumbing to their inducements to run away and go hide with them. She’s in state custody and perfectly safe, and there’s no reason she should be allowed to engage in dangerous internet activities until she’s had some serious counseling. Frankly, she strikes me as lacking the common sense to keep her present location secret, or to distrust a total stranger on the internet who may be claiming to be yet another devout Christian “pastor” but who is actually some small-time jihadist hoping to break into the big-time by offing this currently high profile apostate.
Why haven’t her parents been arrested as illegal aliens and deported? They are here illegaly, aren’t they?
This situation should have had a solution by now: a facebook page devoted solely to killing this girl would be enough to satisfy most authorities that she is in danger. What the hell is wrong with Ohio’s authorities.
I don’t know who has the Ohio ping list.

Gangs have people killed in prison all the time, no problem. And gangs are not above taking money to do the deed for outsiders. Fortunately, many such schemes are found out, but others are not. I’ve watched videos of many prison killings, and the swiftness and savage nature of these attacks is unbelievable. I would not find her totally safe in state or local custody, unless she is isolated 24 hrs. a day, and that’s no guarantee, either.

She’s not in prison. It’s not clear she was ever in any danger at home — she *claims* she was, but there’s no actual evidence, and a fair amount of evidence that she wasn’t. What there is evidence of is that 3 adults, at least 2 of whom had never met her in person, conspired to help her run away from home to another state, where one of those people committed a felony by harboring her for 2 weeks without notifying police. There is also quite a bit of evidence that some of these self-styled “pastors” are eagerly exploiting her and encouraging her fantasy martyr complex for their own purposes.
Given that she’s *alleged* that she believes she’s in danger if she’s with her family, it’s appropriate that she’s in state foster care — Ohio state foster care, because she’s an Ohio resident and her parents/legal guardians are Ohio residents, and thankfully at least some judges are still paying attention to the US Constitution and ordering that a missing minor be returned to her home state as requested by authorities of that state, where her family problems will be dealt with by that state’s courts.
The crazy idea that some people are promoting that she could somehow only be safe in Florida reeks of mentally unbalanced zealotry.
