He is fighting the charge and seeking damages from police. If that's the case, they'll hammer him but good.

How can they charge him for “wanting to be seen naked in public”? First, he was not in public. He was in his own home. Second, how can someone be charged for wanting? Do we truly have thought police now?

“Williamson was arrested because officers believed he wanted to be seen naked by the public.”
Well, I’m glad they can read his mind, but they give no indication this was a pattern.
I wonder how busy a street he lives on? My street is not even a through street, yet I know that there are people out before dawn walking their dogs, jogging, etc. So if he had no blinds or curtains drawn, this comes off as disingenuous at best. It’s different if you’re on an acreage somewhere and can reasonably expect privacy.

This story is very stupid. There were a number of folks “nekkid” in their homes and as kids we just ridiculed them as unkempt. What the hell happened between then and now?

What’s to prevent this neighbor from just making the whole thing up and simply telling the police she saw somebody naked thru a window?
To: 4rcane
Somehow I bet if a man walked around his neighborhood and reported seeing a naked woman making coffee, he would be arrested for voyeurism.
