And I am willing to defend my right to answer to that higher authority by ALL means necessary.

Which Repubs voted for this thing?
They ought to have stood firm and refused to be used in this way.

Would telling a radical homosexual activist who threatens me with this law to s*** my b***s count as a hate crime?

The plan also hands out federal money to states and local governments in pursuit of "preventing" hate crimes. Is it printed yet?

Republicans and frankly most conservative groups dropped the ball on this issue. Didn’t spend serious cash to battle it. Devastating. People simply have no idea how the 1st Amendment will be curtailed by this law.

The endgame is nearing. I would say the 2010 elections will be the final chance to save this nation.

The reason your Congressional leadership wishes to protect pedophiles is pretty obvious.
Those people should be closely watched.

Any creep who tells me that his pedophile BS is protected under this law is going to find himself being frog-marched off of my property and referred to the police.

To me, it’s no longer about high taxes or excessive spending. This is about overt political and religious persecution.

Those who physically attack gays should be charged with assault and tossed in prison. And obviously those who speak out against gays should not be charged with any crime and I see no place in this bill that would punish those who exercise their tight to free speech.

Welcome to pagan America! It is now official. We are living in a pre-Christian or neo-pagan America. Maybe this is a blessing from God? Christians can no longer sit passively in the pews and hide their Christianity in the workplace. I have a feeling that with these “hate crimes bills,” which is Newspeak, many Christians are going to be doing jail time or worse. “Hate crimes” is Newspeak for the government's hatred for those that try to live according to the teachings of Scriptures. "The surest way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." (a paraphrase of Edmund Burke)
