The dems (and a relatively few r's) jump to the left. The r's try and play nice but ultimately wade, essentially stationary, until the population becomes accustomed to it. The dems get a chance to jump left again, of course they do it. No serfdom for me, thank you.

I love it when lefty poofters tell the right how we should be doing things. Thanls for the tips, EJ. We’ll be sure to keep all that in mind....

Only a leftwing jerkoff like Dionne would consider Scozzafava a "moderate."

No frigging way! This is why the GOP is in the mess it is in today!

Moderates can follow Conservatives all they want. NOT the other way around. Mods are spineless wimps who don't want to face inconvenience or controversy. There is absolutely no room for them in the leadership of the GOP, which means being elected as a Senator, Representative or President. Nor do they belong in any government position.

Just look at Snowe, Graham or Collins as examples of what I am saying.

When will the party’s realize it is not up to them to decide who runs, it’s up to the Citizens who are members of that party and other interested voters to choose the candidates in the primaries.

I hate asking questions when I already know the answer.

Agreed. I’m not against the inclusion of moderates; I’m definitely against allowing moderates in positions of leadership within the party, or perish the thought, moderates leading the party. That’s the kind of nonsense that gave us McCain.. Base conservatives lead, moderates follow.

Translation: The OP(formerly the GOP) must continue to expand the voter base by appeasing socialists at the expense of Conservatism. Someone should tell the OP they're strategy isn't working.

Why do these idiot dems think they can tell Republicans how to run the Republican Party?

Yeah...we need another RINO like McCain!! That will energize the conservative base of the Republican party!!! While we’re at it, maybe the RNC can adopt a new party platform that embraces the DNC manifesto....I mean “platform” so that they can appear less partisan and attract the votes of drones who wouldn’t vote for them in a one party race!!!

I just love it when David Axelrod give the RNC some pointers to help them out!!

I just saw Lindsey Graham on Greta. He doesn’t want Obama treated like George Bush was treated. Aww. He sounded like a wuss and that’s why I want him out of Congress. I’m tired of the Dems treating Republicans like trash and the Republicans saying “can’t we just get along?” I’m tired of playing nice.

Well, if they really are GOP moderates, that is folks who value being in the Party of Lincoln enough to be GOP even when their views on some issue are more in line with the demonRATs, then they will vote GOP when we run conservatives.

Too bad we don't have Republicans who ignore morons like Dionne. Idiots like Graham, Voinovich, Lugar, Collins, Snowe, McCain all just want to get along.

All these so-called moderate Republicans reach across the aisle and have their hands bitten off.

Gee, where would the Republican party be without them?

I used to vote for the least liberal candidate. No more. A squishy moderate is a useless creature.
