It is truly sad how much debt we are passing on to future generations.

I will never own my house. I may pay off the mortgage but here in New Jersey my real estate taxes are about $10,000 a year. With Obamacare I will owe the federal government $3900 a year for starters just for living.
I will soon be in no better position than my ancestors were back in Scotland where they worked other people’s land and had just enough left over from land rent to not starve. They were conscripted to fight the wars of their landlords and were finally forced off the land when sheep were found to be a better resource.
It seems I will be taxed as much as possible while I am productive and when I become old and unproductive I will be terminally sedated under Obamacare.
Yes but think of how much easier things will be for those who don’t want to work because of your efforts. Ahhh Hope and Change...isn’t it great.
It’s not even this aspect. Think about those who apply for student loans. From college graduate to indentured servitude in one easy step. The only upside, no more rich professionals defaulting on student loans.

Glad you found that cite of my fellow North Carolinian compelling. We’re rather proud of him, ourselves. South Carolinians are, too, since they argue with us over him. He was born on the Ides Of March in 1767, in The Waxhaws, site of an historic battle of the Revolution when he was a child. It’s in the vicinity of the border between us, NC and SC, and was considered wild backcountry at the time.
I have posted this before and been flamed but I still like this Idea. Washington needs us, we don’t need them. They have to rely on we the people to enforce their insane policies, they would never show up at your door in person. It is all about people control. I think we should stop having our babies in hospitals and stop registering them into THEIR system. Home school, home train, they wont pay S.S. or income tax. As registered “citizens” we can assist those participants in their endeavors. The system would collapse as the tax base dried up.
Here’s how it would work. A child is born at home just like they were 150 years ago, with the help of mid wives or sympathetic and participating medical personnel. They would be paid cash, and would not claim the income. The only record of the birth would be for family purposes only. The child is trained in any number of trades that can be done under the table but I will use a plumber for the sake of this example. He or she starts their business, works out of the home, word of mouth referrals, pays no taxes or S.S., doesn’t have to obay labor,or OSHA laws.
If the person needs to see a doctor, he goes to a clinic that has the small window sticker in front, indicating that this clinic is a participant in the cause. All services are paid for in cash, Dr. Patriot doesn’t claim the income.
This would also need members in law enforcement to participate. They are affected by $h!tty policies as anyone else and Washington relys on them to do the dirty work.
WE built the roads, WE built the infrastructure, the power grids, massive sky scrapers, and institutions that make this country run and we have paid for it in blood and cash many times over. The politicians have only contributed obstacles and added expense. We could starve the bastards out.

Yeah, and the "servant" actually got something out of it- paid passage to America, room and board, plus terms were limited to seven years, after which they were free.
What we have is endless debt, with endless terms, not just for ourselves but our children and their children; and no room or board except that which we provide for ourselves with what is left over AFTER our lord and masters take their share.
It's a lot more like slavery in my eyes.
