What really gets me is all the idiots that thought he would be moderate. He is a loony lefty and thats it. They stood in some pretty long lines in my town to vote for him. Looks like the are going to have some pretty long lines to get their health care in the near future..

The battle lines are already drawn ... insurance atty's vs. medical atty's.
Hovering around as spotters and witnesses are the criminal defense and corporate atty's.
Get'cher programs early .. y'can't tell the players without a progran.

"Every time we get close to passing reform, the insurance companies produce these phony studies as a prescription and say, Take one of these, and call us in a decade. Well, not this time. Kind'a like Mr. or Mrs. whomever that died on the operating table because the doc found out in the middle of a stitch that there was no coverage, eh Mr. zero?

Is anyone still surprised that the insurance, hospital, medical, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries all "cut" deals with this radical, fascist Administration and the Senate Finance Committee to minimize the expected, predictable amount of damage they could expect?
And, having bought their silence and "neutrality" thus far in the legislative and political process, is anyone a bit surprised that Obama the Kenyan Fascist Godfather and the Democrat leaders are now unilaterally reneging on material terms of those "deals" given that the legislation has passed key committee obstacles?
SUCKERS!!!

Wow! He almost sounds as tough as Reagan....Except Reagan was speaking to the evil empire and not to American industry...
No wonder Putin is building new preemptive-strike capabilities, pushing Eastern Europe around, looking (as invited) through our nuclear inventory, and arming half the countries in South America.
Tick...Tock...The groundwork is rapidly being established....

"Since when has Obamas talk been unusually harsh? It was all along." Only if you consider accusing doctors of performing unnecessary tonsillectomies for profit as "harsh".

...threatening to strip the industry of its longstanding exemption from federal antitrust laws... Seems to me that he could not do this without congressional cooperation. And the industry has enough buck to either buy them off or destroy them if they cooperate.

Wait a second here.. why does anyone think it is ok for the insurance industry to have an anti-trust exemption? What is the possible rationale?
