Posting this on DU would get you banned. Few as they are, only the white on black crimes may be discussed.

That’s kinda disturbing. I’m too old to fight and too young to stop caring...

A lot of people have predicting ethic based civil war in the US; the Soviets spend a fair sum trying to promote it. Personally I think the “urban” culture is so self-destructive that only represents a threat to itself and those in close proximity - which why folks are willing to endure long commutes to stay away from it.

The federal government doesn’t allow white people to “run away” from black America. It’s called “blockbusting”, aka Section 8. When new public housing is built, federal judges locate the public housing complexes in neighborhoods deemed to be not sufficiently diverse. Once the first blacks move in, the Euros and Asians jump to the next suburb out. The cycle then repeats, in the process destroying the former small towns, farmland, and wild areas on the fringes of our cities and leaving a desert of abandoned big box stores, strip malls, and fast food joints in its wake.

This is why I oppose white flight. Not only is it a cowardly retreat (and one conducted by cowardly people, the kind who use the words “good schools” in a pathetic attempt to disguise what they really think), it only spreads the ruin. And what do you do when there’s no more cheap land on the outskirts?

The only solution to this problem is the destruction of what I call “black ghetto culture” (BGC) — not people, CULTURE. Unfortunately, most Euros and Asians are addicted to television and other mass media, which brainwashes their children into thinking that BGC is “cool”, thus spreading the destructive culture to healthy populations. The only way to destroy BGC is for a generation of black leaders with the charisma and character necessary to arise and overthrow BGC at the most basic level — by example. Barring that, containment (i.e. ethnic segregation) or open race war are the only alternatives.

Note: I own a home in an inner city neighborhood in the D/FW metropolitan area, and my neighbors and I are not going to allow BGC to destroy that neighborhood. We will guard our streets, conduct ourselves in a civilized manner, and preserve our peace and quiet (and property values). I am not leaving until this home is paid off, and when I do leave, I’m not moving to any soulless fringeburb.

I live out in the country - rural, not suburban. I’m not moving into or near a city - ever. I live about 30 - 40 miles north of Atlanta. I haven’t been ITP (Inside the Perimeter) more that 6-8 times in the last year. Most of those were driving through it.
IMHO, cities are obsolete. Abandoning them isn’t necessarily cowardly.

Cities will never be obsolete. Man is a social animal. The word "civilization" comes from the Latin civitas, or "city": no cities, no civilization. The only reason people can live in wilderness areas is because cities exist; take away the cities, with their concentrations of labor, capital, expertise, and markets, and isolated farmers become unable to reproduce the technological artifacts and other good that require collaborative effort to create. Once these are gone, those living outside the cities must resort to Stone Age hunter-gatherer techniques to survive. In short: your "country" lifestyle could not exist without cities. Take away those cities and the tools and products they produce and you will be reduced to scratching a living from the soil from dawn to dusk, and your children to living like the uncivilized natives that lived here prior to 1492.
