“They say he was legally removed from office as he had violated the Honduran constitution.”
Can we do that here?
WTF does that mean????
well yeah,i know that. thats why all this came about.
ROTFLOL I don’t doubt it. They would come up with pictures and video too.
the difference is,u get an agreement like this and now the legitimate Honduran govt. has the backing of the rest of the world(except Cuba,Venez,Nicargua etc)including the UN as worthless as they are to us.
I think these people work better without the glare of an honest day upon them.
WTF does that mean????
That is leftist 'double-back on itself' speak. Its purpose is not to convey information it is intended to cause cognitive dissonance in the hopes that it will short-circuit critical thinking.
Yes, if the President violates the Constitution, he can be removed. But obviously it's not easy. For instance, if Obama is really a Kenyan/Indonesian who lied under oath about his citizenship, the courts could remove him.
But, as in Honduras, it would probably require the military to side with the courts rather than with the bogus President. Certainly the Justice Department under that crook Holder would side with Obama. Once the legitimacy of the government is called into question, all bets are off until the matter is resolved, which requires popular support and approval of those with the power to prevent it.
Or if Obama violates the Constitution in some other way--as he in fact has done in such matters as the GM takeover--Congress can impeach and the Senate convict him. That's unlikely at this juncture, unless he becomes so widely hated that the Democrats consider him a hopeless liability.
That’s an excellent analysis! Thank you.
the “old deadline” was today.... snicker....
Oh he HAS.
This doesn’t sound like an agreement to me. Sounds like wishful thinking. The real President of Honduras has not agreed to anything and has repeatedly said he would not agree to reinstating the idiot to office. Doesn’t make sense to reach an “agreement” when Honduras has done nothing wrong. The UN has even(finally)acknowledged that Honduras acted legally. Why would they cave now?
Stay strong, Honduras, don’t surrender now.
The U.N. has already issued a lengthy report, concluding that the ousting of Zelaya was constitutional and legal.
The U.S. Library of Congress also officially researched the issue, and concluded that Honduras acted legally and constitutionally.
Whoever these "negotiators" are, they are beating a dead horse; and, if they keep it up, there might be a beaten dead Zelaya, too.
Six weeks to go to Moot Issue Day.
WTF does that mean????
I would guess it means they consider the removal of Z a crisis, and he will STAY removed, thus the crisis will continue; and he will be allowed to leave his current spiderhole for a better one, thus an exit is the matter at issue.
