Olympia Snowe the RINO is totally predictable and will vote with the rats in the whole senate.
The voters in Maine must send her packing in 2012

Does the RNC contribute any money to Snowe’s campaigns? If so, it needs to END!
To: Kaslin
They will not, anymore then the folks in Montana will dispose of Maxine Baucus.
A democracy will last as long as it takes for the voters to realize that they can vote themselves something for nothing. Screw the other guy.

Any Mainers here? Does she bring home the bacon in return for turning her back on the R party all the time, or is she just ineffective all the way round?

The GOP has a big problem. Some who march under its banner don't really accept the basic philosophy it espouses one of low taxes, small government and support of the Constitution. Snowe is one of those. If the GOP wanted to oust Snowe from the GOP they would. GOP leaders quite apparently like this rino........

I don't know about the RNC but she does get money from fellow douchebag George Sorois. Snowe-Job should be tossed out of office on her ear for her latest sellout of her constituents.

“Does the RNC contribute any money to Snowes campaigns?”
A better question is, does the RNC care what she has done.
Its not like this was a surprise. Also her fellow traveler in Maine would have done the same ... yet the RNC continues to support both of them in the past years as they have consistently voted against the party's “supposed” principles.
The GOP is a dying organization with ideas that are no different from their opposition.
The GOP needs to be dispatched along with the Wiggs. They no longer practice their core beliefs and no longer deserve the votes of Conservatives.

If the GOP wanted to oust Snowe from the GOP they would. I've always been under the impression that the candidate declared his or her party affiliation when filing the qualifying paperwork for the election. How, exactly, would the party oust her? I can't recall ever seeing that done on either side of the aisle.

Same thing can happen to Snowe.

It is time for conservatives mount a concerted primary challenge to Snowe, and, failing that, to back the democratic candidate if he/she is better on the issues than Snowe. This is ultimately how we got rid of that t**d Lowell Weicker, and the senator who replaced Weicker, Joe Lieberman, has been on most issues better than his predecessor -— and by the way intends to vote against the Baucus bill.

Any Mainers here?Considering they represent 0.3% of the US population, not likely.
But they have 2 whole senators, just like real states, and boy do those 2 senators like to throw their weight around.
