That's pretty bad. I didn't read the whole article. Wonder what kind of diaper rash the kid had? It's just dumb, but, hey if they want to be dumb let them. I guess they don't mention, that with a woman and baby in the house and no toilet paper, your going to be using a lot more water. You still have to flush the toilet and you then have to clean up. I don't mean just your hands. You'd have to do something with your behind. And you know with the monthly thing for the woman and the poopy diapers for the kid. You would be doing more laundry and using much more water. Either that our they are filthy, stinky, nasty and setting themselves up for all kinds of sickness.

What I've noticed with these eco nuts is, like with the light bulbs. Sure your saving more electricity, but, don't break the bulb and how are they going to dispose of millions of used up light bulbs that are full of mercury? There trying to use corn for fuel. Don't they think at some point that's going to cause a food shortage or at least a more costly food products? And you know how the libs wring there hands about the poor. Seems like everything they do, they actually make the problems worse.

Sounds interesting although I’m spoiled enough not to want to go without certain amenities. They basically lived like my grandparents did. You have to be pretty creative to get around using certain things to which we’ve become accustomed and to which my grammie never had at all while growing up. There are a lot of things we considered necessities that really aren’t - just one for instance, diaper wipes. I never used them when my kids were in diapers, I had a set of washcloths for them. You just wash ‘em in hot water and bleach. Most of our mothers did the same thing. Truly, we are fortunate but we are also spoiled. We pretty much live the same way when we go to our cabin in Maine every year and we think it’s great. Self-sufficiency is underrated.

"...Smith agreed: “You just have to get 300 million people to do it.”..."

Further evidence that the roots of totalitarianism lie just under the green message.
