“Mr. Obama has done important, courageous things to restore America’s standing. After George W. Bush, it feels good — and safer — to know that people around the world feel better about this country and about this president.”

And what “courageous” things did he do?

It may be true that the “world feels better” but that “feeling” is laughter and will be short term.

To claim the world is “safer” is just plain foolish. Not one action of Obama’s has made the world safer. Ask Eastern Europe if they feel safer. Ask the Israelis if they feel safer. Ask Iran's neighbors if they feel safer.

Is a “moral compass” something you have in lieu of morals? This week Harvey Weinstein said that Hollywood had a very strong moral compass in defense of their coming to the aid of Roman Polanski.
I guess you either have morals or you need a moral compass to try to find them. If you have a strong moral compass, it means you are very far off and need a lot of help to find morals.
