If she were working for a real president, I think she'd probably be a very strong SOS (probably to our detriment).
As it is, however, Obama and his inner circle have taken it upon themselves to act as the de facto SOS, and as a result Clinton is essentially a figurehead.
Just another example of Obama's ego at work.
The only thing to "get," ma'am, is that Obama is mentally ill: a textbook case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Couple that with a stunted mental age. Based on the dewy-eyed idealism that is especially evident in speeches like his ghastly one at the UN, it appears that Obama is mentally about 19 years old -- he's got lots of ideals and ideas, but no experience or recognition of how the real world tends to differ from and oppose them.
