The confusion I was speaking of was matters of fact.

You might not like everything he did, but Bush is not lacking in personal courage. Nor did he ever pull his punches when it came to defending his country. What he does have is a sense of decency and decorum, and knowledge of the precedent that former president’s don’t interfere with the policies of sitting presidents, which The Idiot Carter has never observe or respected. And, for the record, there is no love lost between Bush and McCain.

Intelligent people don’t respond to debates by insulting their protagonist. I find that to be a consistent method of the left and it makes YOU look stupid.

Bush had plenty of courage. Consider that the Security Council was bought-off by the Oil-For-Food scandal as the reason they did not vote to uphold their own sanctions.

Consider that his surge decision went against all the Pentagon brass and his own father’s buddies. And he was right.

It is considered rude, if history is any guide, for a former president to comment on, or insert himself into politics. Carter was the first in my long memory, and Clinton is following the same tacky blueprint.

I’ll meet you on a more Bush-related thread to discuss the accomplishments (or lack of) of the former President.

I’ll discuss former President Bush in a more appropriate thread.
