I understand Nike has entered into another advertising agreement with Michael Vick. While some would argue that Mr. Vick has paid his debt to society for his dog fighting conviction the reality is that he also was behind the abduction of stray and family dogs in his neighborhood for training purposes. He's never answered for that. So, I will never purchase another Nike product while he is under contract with your company. This is sad and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Is Nike merging with Hush Puppies?
Good for him! He made a terrible mistake and has paid a tremendous price by losing 2 years of his life and tens of millions of dollars.
As it appears for now, he has rehabilitated himself and is doing his part to bring awareness to the crimes he was guilty of.
Unfortunately, I can’t say this news is going to change my spending habits. I would have never spent money on overpriced Nike garbage anyway. Why would you spend money to advertise for Nike, with their signature Swoosh littering every piece of crap they produce? People’s retarded affinity for wearing clothes with corporate logos emblazoned on them has always amazed me.
If anyone really wanted to protest and have their protest “vote” counted all they would have to do is change channels when Michael Vick and his new team take to the air.
The Stations, Broadcasters, Advertisers are well aware of these numbers.
If Michael Vick or his team is/are playing I would rather watch “The 101st run of the Flintstones”
I really don’t care. Bigger things on my mind.
Don’t buy anything nike. Is that so difficult? I don’t.
Nike lost me several years back with the black guy as Godlike giving the Nuremberg style podium to a bunch of swooning crackers
I don’t like being pandered to like I am into ghetto worship.
in fact I hate most marketing devised by today’s brainwashed kids for social engineering

Thank you for your email. Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick. We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike. Thank you again for your feedback.
...to which I responded:
Dear Jeff,
Thank you for your response and explanation. However, Nike's decision to "furnish" Mr. Vick product rather than pay him for schlepping for Nike is to me a difference without distinction. It basically tells me your company does not find Mr. Vick's actions distasteful enough to get in the way of what is obviously a business decision. Fair enough. I stand by my earlier decision not to purchase your products. Thank you for your time.
