Rove can go away. He's done enough damage.

“divisive, vicious”

It’s hard to imagine a mild-mannered individual like Karl Rove being described this way. Dems should look in the mirror sometime!

Uff Da indeed!

Those roots run deep in this Scandinavian - 1/2 Dane, 1/4 Swede and 1/4 Norwegian... Plus a mighty handsome blonde - just ask anyone.

The ancestral roots run deep, but DD is a Red-Blooded American US Navy Vet and damned proud of it.

1/4 Dane here. Karl and I have something in common.

For most of my youth, my maternal grandmother lived with us. She was born in Sweden, and worked as a chef before she got married. She did a lot of the cooking.

Not once was lutefisk ever served in our house.

Lutefisk is Norwegian, thank you.

My wife's family is 1/2 Swedish and 1/2 Norwegian. Thus Uf Dah!

Being Eyetalian I say Marron!

Takk! My grandmother Laura used to put the lutefisk in her bathtub with lots of lye. I never ate it nor did I ever take a bath in her tub!

My mother’s family is related to Karl Rove’s father one on line of her family. I have a ‘tree’ that my cousin in Norway made for us. I wonder how I could contact Karl Rove and give him that tree?

While I have personally suffered through several Holiday Luncheons at the Finnish American Friendship Hall in Farmington Hills, MI, there is only one thing to say with this posting: "As always, I totally agree with Karl Rove."

Lutefisk is one of the most revolting things I have ever knowingly put into my mouth more than once, to keep my Hosts free of embarrassment, as they were seemingly loving it. Lutefisk, boiled pealed potatoes and a tasteless white sauce. Yuch!

The absolutely (pun intended) was an ample supply of the following:

Take your negativity to another thread. This is a non-political honor.

Rove is Scandanavian, because his step-father was?

That would be the theory of nurture, not nature.

I on the other hand am 1/4 Scandinaian complete with patronymic surname.

And about 500 years of Swedish genealogy; a bit of Norwegian.

Rove had a critical hand in wrecking California by installing Gerry Parsky in charge of all political expenditures.

This is a political web site.

Yes, but not everything has to take on political overtones. It can be just a pleasant excursion into something else once in a while.

LOL, you know the legend, don’t you?

St. Patrick tried to get the Norskies out of Ireland by putting lye in their fish stores.

Trouble was, the Norskies loved it and turned it into their national dish.

Short version.
