Suddenly, ACORN is as popular as a sneeze on a crowded bus. Nope. I'd rather get sneezed on by a busful of commuters than have one ACORN "census worker" come to my house.

Amen. ACORN "helped" poor people, not by telling them to "graduate from school, don't have children til you get married, get married, etc., but by KEEPING THEM ON THE DEMOCRAT PLANTATION!
ACORN and SEIU tells them "You can't do this on your own, VOTE for DEMOCRATS who will GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU WANT "except SELF_RESPECT".

In order to embezzle a million dollars, you have to have a lot of loose money laying around.Or, authorized or hacked access to electronic accounts.

As Katie dog paddles around, lost in the fog of the Potomac she has begun to surface as an androgenous cross between Dorothy Parker and Jack Anderson with a shade of Will Rogers thrown in for the balcony crowd.
I hope’s got her rabies shots up to date.

The act of embezzlement only works if you dont get caught or expect to get caught.
I would suppose most any fool could steal a few hundred dollars in loose cash if there were thousads in their purview.
To steal a milion and not expect to get caught there has to be millons of loose dolars.

I’m surprised this apologist for everything conservative, Kathleen Parker, had the stomach to write this piece. She’s still a jerk, nevertheless, and her attacks on Sarah Palin will never be forgotten.
To: Ann Archy
It doesn't matter if the Left reads her column or not. They are a fanatical, secular religious sect that is incapable of reason.
And the Left is not going to read it from a Free Republic website. We have any number of authors who can say the same point only better.

Has she gotten over her crush on Obama?
Or is she too stupid to know that ACORN IS Obama and Obama IS ACORN, and she's still swooning over him?
I don't much care what she says about anything, but I suppose it's good that she at least has this much information right.

So is the Tides Center which funds many of the oleftist environmental and social justice groups:
http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/funderprofile.asp?fndid=5184
The Tides Center’s Board Chairman is Wade Rathke, who is also a member of the Tides Foundation Board. Rathke, a protege of the late George A. Wiley, serves as President of the New Orleans-based Local 100 of the Service Employees International Union, and is the founder and chief organizer of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN)

Taxpayer dollars going to unions? Blagojevich ...helped position the SEIU so that it could unionize health care workers... SEIU showed its appreciation in advance by becoming Blagojevichs largest contributor, handing over $1.8 million for his two gubernatorial campaigns.
Now thats community organization.
Washington Post - they're doing justice to the ACORN issue. Informative, easy to read... great stuff.

Don’t tell me, let me guess: Kathleen is...Blonde!
Hand and glove? PUHLEEZ, at least get the colloquialism correct, it’s “hand IN glove”.
No wonder she gets no respect. She’s as smart as a sack of rocks. What my dog disposes of on our walks has more functioning brain matter than she shows evidence of.
Yet she is supposed to be some “conservative” thinker/pundit? God save us all.
