If I remember correctly, Rep. Paul was hosting a 9-12 rally w/ Rep. Michele Bachman in her home district, so yes, he was involved in it in one way or another. I guess that will mean that Rep. Bachman will now be on the $hit list of the PaulHaters too, now that she has dared to share the same stage w/ Rep. Paul.
Re: the lady in Beck’s audience, I think it’s safe to say that she made a simple mistake & nothing more. It wasn’t some Paul Bot conspiracy to hijack the 9-12 movement that the idiotic Paul-hating pricks think it might be.
I watched the 1AM (central time) re-play of Beck on Friday night, not knowing that it was pre-empted by Zero’s speech earlier that day...& it was shown in its entirety.
Paul's hypocrisy on Earmarks, his absurd "defending America" act etc etc are examples of serious flaws in Paul's conduct.
Your habit of ignoring them and screaming hysteric bile at everyone who points them outs indicate you have a childish case of Hero worship going for Paul.
Seeing that sort of blind adoration and sycophancy for any politician in a citizen of this Republic should sicken everyone who sees it.
Please explain your dislike of "defending America" if you would. How is he a hypocrite on earmarks? I'm sure that he has to introduce earmarks in for his own district, or else he would never get re-elected. He must be doing SOMETHING right, since the people of the 14th District of TX has re-elected him several times over....or could it be that all of the folks in that district are a bunch of America-hating Paul Bots?

It's not as though 0bama hasn't saturated the airwaves with his drivel, not to mention his outrageous, obvious boycott of Fox. 0bama has been setting his press doings to go off precisely as Rush is beginning the radio show, now he and his minions are trying to capitalize on Glenn's ginormous audience. Hate to tell him, it didn't work ... the channel was changed immediately.

This thread is long passed but I’m going to take the time to explain something. Probably no one will even read it but I’m going to write it anyway.
Last year I had a quadruple heart bypass. My husband had a massive brain infection. My precious granddaughter was around in some form or fashion, once when my husband had a seizure, once in the hospital to visit me. Her other grandmother had lung cancer...some ten years ago but granddaughter has been exposed to all things medical, more perhaps than any five year old oughta. Her own mother is on permanent disability for bipolar disorder.
I took one of the many, many medical instances to try to explain to this very bright child the consequences of changing from our private medical plan to a public one. Yes she’s only five but this is a child that does understand more than you can imagine. I told her how under a public health care plan medical care might not be so quickly available, that my husband, who is her step=grandfather, would surely have died for lack of quick medical care for a brain infection, how her other grandmother would not have been so quickly diagnosed with cancer, how quickly I got medical help once my heart began to act for its terribly clogged arteries.
Now I might have been aiming for a quick yuk yuk and a horse laugh when I said that I told my granddaughter that Obama wanted to kill her grandmothers but it really is a little more detailed than this. Her other grandmother also explains how quick medical care saved her life from lung cancer ...can you imagine? We are a family fully involved with medical knowledge, very lucky, all blessed due to America’s wonderful health care system. At least America’s health care system as it WAS. We all want Kaitlyn to understand this.
I’ve been posting on this thread for months now but I have a person who LOVES to find just the slightest thing she might consider untoward I write and jump all over me. Perhaps others found my short and terse statement about killing grandmothers to be alarming but most a)gave me the benefit of the doubt that there might be more to the story as I am mostly a decent person who doesn’t intentionally horrify her grandmother deep into the night of b)had entirely too much class to chastise/question me in a public forum but did so privately.
This person who shall remain nameless LOVES to find any thing at all on me...I don’t know why.
I don’t want to discuss it any more except I love my granddaughter with all my heart, I did nothing to hurt her in any way, she does fully understand, more than any other five year old does or even should, the consequences of medical care delivered too slowly.
Moving on.....
