Excellent point. However, living in the North part of the state, I can say I’m shocked by the cases that local DA’s pass on or bargain down to nothing. It varies a lot by city and county. I’ll bet you can guess which one’s are worst. Budget reasons are the usual excuse, if anyone notices.
Just a wild hunch, but I'd bet things like murder, rape, and armed robbery pretty much get reported.
Oh, Hell, I don’t got into Baltimordor at all. My last trip up there was back in the 90s for a gun show, of all things.

I was just comparing your major city to Cals...As you can see, Marylands major city crime rate is substantially higher than California’s.
In fact, Maryland’s major city has higher crime rates in 6 out of the 7 major crime categories....
That my friend is significant.
It clearly shows you’ve got a hell of a lot of low life in Maryland.
Then again, maybe I’ve listened to the opening of Law & Order for too many years....
