And the so called "smackdown" by Land will be met with a response in the coming days.

Indeed. The sequel "Smackdown 2" by the Hon. David O. Carter holds great potential to be as entertaining as the original.

Anyone who says that document is not a birth certificate is lying.

No, but you sure did.

Watch the personal attacks.

Quit sniveling.

You did not post a copy of “the birth certificate.” That is a lie. Why do you feel you must be a liar to make your case? You should stick with the facts, if you can.

"That thing is very likely a forgery. We're waiting for Obama to show that thing in court."

Nonsense. There's no evidence it is a forgery, that's just wishful thinking.

"No, but you sure did."

Actually, you did by claiming I lied when I told the truth.

How about having an adult conversation? If you think something is wrong, explain. Document it.

"You did not post a copy of “the birth certificate.” That is a lie."

You are still wrong. Just saying it isn't doesn't make it so. If you have some facts to share that say otherwise, by all means feel free. Just calling people who disagree liars is juvenile.

"Why do you feel you must be a liar to make your case?"

Why do you? The entire birther "case" is built on lies.

"You should stick with the facts, if you can."

Facts are what I have. The birthers have fantasies.

Don't you wish it...if it was only wishful thinking.

Polarik's final report: Obama's 'Born' Conspiracy Forged images, phony photos, and felony fraud

It's a forgery alright.

And we are still waiting for Obama to prove that he is a natural born citizen. We are still waiting for Obama to show that 'Nonsense' in a court of law.

"Don't you wish it...if it was only wishful thinking."

It isn't about what I wish. It's about what you and the other birthers wish.

Throwing up a couple of pictures that don't look exactly alike doesn't prove forgery. That's exactly the style of "analysis" Polarik is only capable of doing. He's an internet crackpot and that's all.

Great. I hope you are patient. Meantime, he's still eligible and he's still the President, whether we like it or not.

Obama is a fraud like his no “Factcheck”.org photo you submit as proof.

An honest president would submit his COLB to the court as proof even a caveman can understand that.

Tsk tsk mlo so much dishonesty....

Obama occupies the office but that doesn't mean he is Constitutionally or legally legitimate.

You posted an alleged Certification of Live Birth; and you lied, claiming it was “the birth certificate” of Barry. That is a fact.

I’m not sure what “the birther case” or a “birther” is. You could try to tell me; but that would most likely be a lie as well, seeing as you have been proven a liar on this thread.

I said before I would try to be nice to you, but you continue to post something that is a lie. If you can't see that you certainly need to go back to your school and get your money back for not learning to read!!!

Here’s what the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health had to say and I quote: “I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen.

There are more attempts than the above, but you get the picture.

I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago,” Fukino said, in hopes of ending the controversy surrounding Obama’s citizenship.”

I’m sure that Dr. Fukino can be subpoenaed and can testify if any Obama birth certificate suit ever makes it to trial.
Thus far there have been more than ten legal attempts and none has made it to an actual trial.

Philip J. Berg demanded that the courts verify Obama’s original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg’s latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was dismissed by Federal District Court R. Barclay Surrick.

Berg then appealed to the US Supreme Court and after being introduced in conference for a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari by Justice David Souter of the U.S. Supreme Court, Berg’s Petition was denied without comment by the court.

Berg resubmitted his Petition for a Writ of Certiorari and it was taken on by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. On December 17th it was denied by Kennedy.

Berg resubmitted his Petition for a Writ of Certiorari for a third time. On January 12th it was denied prior to judgement for a third time by the US Supreme Court.

Berg also petitioned the US Supreme Court for a Stay of the Certification of the Electoral College Vote. His application for a stay was denied by Justice Scalia on January 21st.

Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama’s dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.

Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut’s secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.

Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state’s 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public’s support. However the 55 California Electors did vote on December 15th and Certification of the Electoral College vote occurred on January 6th.
The California Supreme Court denied this case on December 5th, 2008.
The case was submitted to the US Supreme Court for a Petition for Writ of Certiorari which was denied by Justice Kennedy on December 17th, 2008.
This case was resubmitted to the Supreme Court through Chief Justice John Roberts and was distributed for conference of January 23rd, 2009. At that conference the case was denied without comment.

Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama’s vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.

Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama’s eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama’s citizenship. His case was denied.

In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.

In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama’s citizenship. The case was denied.

In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama’s birth certificate. His request for an injuction against Georgia’s secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.

In Texas, Jody Brockhausen of Round Rock, who runs the Web site, obamaverifybirthplace.com, wrote in her lawsuit that the Texas Secretary of State’s Office should decertify Obama’s name from the state’s 2008 election ballot unless it receives documents proving that Obama was born in Hawaii. Williamson County district judge Bert Carnes dismissed the case arguing that Brockhausen did not have standing.

In Indiana: Ankeny v Daniels.

A Marion Superior Court judge dismissed a lawsuit brought by two Indiana men seeking to invalidate Indiana’s election results based on President Barack Obama’s citizenship status.

Attorneys representing Gov. Mitch Daniels asked Judge David Dreyer to dismiss the lawsuit. Filed in December, it is one of dozens across the country that have challenged Obama’s eligibility to hold office based on his status as a “natural born citizen.” All have been unsuccessful.

Dreyer’s order says the issue raised by the plaintiffs, Steve Ankeny, New Castle, and Bill Kruse, Roselawn, was moot. It also said they failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted and that they are barred from bringing the action under the legal doctrine of laches, which means the plaintiffs waited too long to assert a time-sensitive claim.

The suit said Indiana’s 11 Democratic electors weren’t properly chosen because Daniels didn’t first verify the eligibility of Obama or Sen. John McCain, his Republican opponent, to be president.

The Indiana attorney general’s lawyers argued the suit should be tossed because the governor and the electors already had carried out their duties under election law. They said the U.S. Congress would be the proper venue for a debate over how to verify the eligibility of candidates.
