As an idependent Christian and bible believer who is looking for the blessed hope, even the glorius appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, such articles are interesting indeed. He will return to Israel and rule and reign over all the earth as King of Kings for 1000 years after the 7 year tribulation and indignation of God against all those who deny the grace of God by faith only in the finished salvation atonement by His only begotten son Jesus the Christ, the annointed one.

They don’t need a Karl der Grosse. They need a Karl Martel.

Do not be like the liberal left please, they always attack the messenger when the message is true. Hemingway and Faulkner were drunks and yet their writings are wonderful.

Charlemagne is one of the most significant leaders in all French and European history for one overwhelming reason: He stopped the Moors, who had conquered Spain and were moving north, from advancing further into Europe and his own lands. If Charlemagne had failed to stop the Moorish advance then there would have been nothing to stop them taking over the whole of Western Europe. See Battle of Tours in 722.

The Saxons clung to their own faith and refused, even on pain of death, to submit to Roman Catholicism. Charlemagne determined to force his brand of Christianity on them with the sword Yes, and the Saxons were heroic Christian fundamentalists who were persecuted for worshipping on Saturdays and rejecting the Trinity, right?!? Murdered by the vicious Roman Catholicks!
Oh, wait ... actually they were tree-worshipping pagans, who didn't know or follow any "brand of Christianity" until Charlemagne came along.

It was 732. You're confusing Charles Martel with Charlemagne. Charlemagne was born 10 years after the Battle of Tours.
Both Martel and Charlemagne were Franks, though. Same tribe, (slightly) different era.

Bible prophecy teaches how that the age of grace will end with the rapture of the saved sinners (aka, saints of Jesus Christ, aka, the body of Christ) and then a 7 year tribulation and then the 1000 year rule of King Jesus over all the earth and then God burns the earth AND THEN
BEGINS the new heaven and the new earth and new Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven wherein dwells rightiouness and all of the children of God the Father created in Christ Jesus and marked by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
God's Word is true, religion is vain.

There is a little room to argue about who/what started WWI. WWII was an extension of WWI, for various reasons. There was no lack of stupidity on everyone’s part.

Known unto God are all His works from the beginning.
God's testimony is of Jesus Christ His Son and our Lord and Saviour.
History is God's story of redemption of lost sinners to the grace provided by Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
