“No Republican first spouse would ever be a celebrity in Washington”

Or if Gov Palin were VP now and had pulled a stunt like this the outcry would be deafening.

I guess Mr and Mrs 0 are really just average folks. Most people I know have to have “tuscan kale” with dinner. Yeah, we common people can really identify with that. It’s OK for left wing Democrats to be millionaires. Only the Republican ones are anti poor and out of touch.

End of sarcasm.

“There are times when putting together a healthy meal is harder than you might imagine.”

Poor thing! Slaving away in the kitchen like that.

Gee, what race did she win?

I thought horses get that type of flower arrangement when they win a race.

Oh wait, never mind.

This is satire, no? Anyway, nothing says “in touch with the plebs” like “certified organic Tuscan kale.”

Remember when G.H.Bush not knowing the cost of a gallon of milk was enough for the MSM to declare him unfit for office.

You know, if Don Corleone had that kind of setup for his market runs, things may not have careened out of control.

Just a subtle reminder that BO was born in Hawaii.

She makes Marie Antoinette look like a hard-nosed realist.

Exceedingly well put!

For crissakes ...

http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2009/09/michelle_obama_launches_dc_far.html

The idea the White House was advocating was to locate a farmers’ market downtown so federal workers would have an easier time buying healthy foods. Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, older brother of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel — and a White House health adviser — was one of the people behind the plan.

(snip)

Mrs. Obama visited two stalls after her remarks. She gathered in a straw basket at one stand run by Farm at Sunnyside, a certified organic farm in Rappahannock County, Va., a dozen eggs, two bunches of Tuscan kale, two pints of cherry tomatoes, four Asian pears, one pint of small potatoes and one-half pint of hot peppers. The tab was $18.

From the Clear Spring Creamery, an organic creamery in Clear Spring, Md., Mrs. Obama bought a wheel of Claire’s organic camembert cheese and a half-quart of chocolate milk, with the bill coming to $10.

Although she is ‘big boned’, she does look much better in those pants than the dresses and boobie belt she usually wears..

:P

Satire? I would assume so, but it's difficult to tell the difference, no?

I wonder how Michelle feels about the farms drying up in California because we need to save the minnow. Oh nevermind--as long as she can get her vegetables in a convenient location. /sarc
