I agree, David Gergen left the reservation a long time ago. In fact, when The One is forced to fire/replace some members of his senior staff due to his tanking poll numbers and his inability to get anything important through Congress, I think he’ll hire Gergen just like Clinton did during his first year in the WH.
I fully expect that one day we will read on the back page of some rag that Ed Schultz has been arrested for his involvement with Prostitutes (ACORN Certified) or Child Pornography.
The racism charge is pretty rich coming from Carter, who campaigned for governor of Georgia as a self-proclaimed “redneck” whose campaign distributed a photo of gubernatorial opponent Carl Sanders being embraced by black basketball players to a Ku Klux Klan rally; who pledged to invite George Wallace to Georgia; and who said he was “proud” to have Lester Maddox as his lieutenant governor in 1970, calling him “the essence of the Democratic Party.” (Which he was.) In 1972, he promised – then broke his promise – to the newly crippled Wallace to nominate or second him at the 1972 Democratic National Convention.
No he is not. He is distracting us from the real story of 0bama signing his own self up for the U.N. going to the U.N. summit and selling us out after he renders all missle shields null and void creating WW3.
Think about it...
