Thanks! Will read tomorrow.
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.
If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Bottomline: The majority of Americans do not know themselves, nor do they know their enemy.
They have finally picked-up the strong scent of the enemy (as he gets closer)
- but Americans still do not know their enemy.
Wish FR had a more user-friendly HTML posting system... Shortcut bar for Bold, Italics, Underlining, Pictures, and hyperlinks. I hate code, especially when there is a long post to tinker with.
Fascism in service of Sustainable Development?
You might drop your article, or what have you, into an html editor like Dreamweaver or any other editor, make your adjustments, then paste the source into your post.
The religion of mother earth.
Socialists, communists, globalists, U.N. puppets, fascists, tyrannists and pagans: all one and the same.
With prior decent knowledge of history, politics, law, religion, mythology, and philosophy, I set out last Nov. 8 researching the current state affairs. Since then, after spending countless hours on this site, wading through conspiracy theories, current politics, and the history of the world (as best I can at this point), it is clear to me that “sustainable development” and its relations is the issue.
Check out http://www.green-agenda.com for some good info.
From Planet of the Apes to The Matrix to many other films, books, and movements like “global warming”, a primary message we see pushed is that “humans are bad”. In my opinion, there is a reason for that.
Read the article. Scary.
Great post!
So in essence the problem can be summed up in 2 letters - UN - just like so many before have warned about.
Indeed the thermodynamic or economic concept of sustainable development can be seen as a totally conservative strategy, in that we (our nation, society, or humanity) can progress while being circumspect about our resources, i.e. sustainable development.
Maybe in the subject essay the euphemism, Sustainable Development, could just be replaced with the term Leftism.
While you sleep with it tonight; what good is a warning after you’re hip-deep in shit?
I think I’ll go kiss a rock...
It could indeed be seen as “a totally conservative strategy”, were it not already defined by leftists as something different. Research the term “sustainable development”. It already has a definition which does in fact seem to tie “these many dire environmental issues...to a new feudalism.”
What you omit is the voluntary aspect of all the forces necessary; where do we harvest and who will hoe?
Let us know if it returns the favor.
I quit a good-paying job in state government because I got tired of listening to all the paeans to “sustainability”—and judging all our actions by whether or not they met that criteria. It is a spiderweb of crap that extends from EPA to all state and local government. It is truly antithetical to the Constitution and classic American civic principles. And the whole concept is totally unworkable in the face of the way our economy is organized today. It is like hippies moving “back to the land” in the 70’s. So many people just go along with the starry-eyed young idealists because they know it will never happen. But then comes Obama, who may actually believe in it! And his actions are consistent, because the only way it will ever happen is in a dictatorship. Think of Borat’s home village!

I know nothing of Borat, but “spiderweb of crap” is a good way to put this whole issue.
I disagree with your assessment. I do not think this a semantic exercise.
Those intent on global domination have written a broad plan: Man In the Biosphere. The broad plan has its principle goals: Agenda 21. They have a vehicle to carry that goal: Sustainable Development.
They have provided us the details, including what legal framework must be erected to enforce the plan. They have left their calling card throughout our institutions, via a new lexicon of words, so to hide what we all inherently know is the poison of socialism.
The problem is that you, and others, see the word “sustainable development” and THINK “conserve resources”...
BUT the AUTHORS of the plan, the ONLY ones that may interpret the meaning of their words, see the word “sustainable development” and KNOW that it means “global socialism” through the accelerated denial of private property.
Take a look at the growing number of “World Heritage” sites, and “Biosphere Reserves”... Investigate the increasing amount of land confiscated by the federal government. Look at wetlands provisions and wildlife corridors, the clean water restoration act, the food safety act, etc. Read the new building codes, and environmental laws that are being promulgated. Search the curriculum of our schools and colleges. Even our grocery stores and shopping malls carry the water of these change agents, using advertising to convey to us, and more importantly to our children, the central organizing principle. Everywhere one may look, the fingerprint of a centralized control married to environmentalism is evident... AND the guiding philosophy is consistently “sustainability.”
There is a lot more to this than you may be aware... a pseudo religious aspect based in New Age philosophy. If you search, you will discover that many corporate leaders have received “trainings” in New Age-centered “human potential” programs... all of which possess some aspect of this mother earth philosophy. Many have made such “training” a requirement for their high level employees. The same indoctrination is also present among many teachers, etc. I know because I witnessed it with my own eyes. I met many executives from major companies who were caught up in this nonsense. I saw the lists of hundreds of others, whom I never met... and knew of the general plans to bring as many intellectuals and influential leaders of business and policy making into the fold.
It is no surprise to me how fast this “sustainability” movement has spread. The entire construct is diabolical in nature, which explains how so many seemingly unrelated parts easily coalesce into the whole. We are facing something far more powerful than we may be willing to admit at this time.
