Hmmm, we'd like for (all) journalist to do the same.

Maybe they could even agree on a headcount.

While you're at it, ask Barry, Charley and Maxine some REAL questions.

Headline - Waters DEMANDS investigations into racist teabaggers.

What? What did I say?

Waters’ political rhetoric is often demagogic. In 2001 she depicted the retiring moderate Republican Mayor of Los Angeles, Richard Riordan, as a “plantation owner.” On another occasion, while addressing the allegedly pervasive problem of police brutality against African Americans, Waters said that she had never seen Los Angeles police officers abuse “little white boys.”

During the Los Angeles riots in the wake of the infamous 1992 Rodney King trial, Waters described the violence (in which 58 people were killed) as “a spontaneous reaction to a lot of injustice.” She held “economic, social, cultural and political” factors responsible for the disorder.[1] She dismissed the mass black looting of Korean-owned stores by saying: “There were mothers who took this as an opportunity to take some milk, to take some bread, to take some shoes…. They are not crooks.” Chanting the radical slogan “No justice, no peace,” she attributed the rioters’ underlying rage to the federal government’s allegedly longstanding “neglect” of America’s inner cities.[2]

Waters further asserted that racial injustice was rampant in America. She claimed that the L.A. tumult could rightly be called a “rebellion” or “insurrection,” but not a riot. “Riot implies to me wild, crazed, uncalled-for actions,” she explained, “and I’m not so sure that’s quite appropriate for what took place in Los Angeles.”[3] It was “unfortunate,” she said, “that “it takes things like this rebellion to wake people up.”[4]

Waters co-sponsored Rep. John Conyers’ bill calling for reparations for slavery to be paid to African Americans.

Waters blames illicit drugs for the rampant crime that plagues her congressional district, and she has blamed the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for the presence of those drugs. In the 1980s she accused the CIA of selling crack in black neighborhoods. However, the San Jose Mercury-News eventually retracted the story on which Waters had based her allegations for lack of evidence. Undeterred, Waters told the Los Angeles Times in 1997: “It doesn’t matter whether the CIA delivered the kilo of cocaine themselves or turned their back on it to let somebody else do it. They’re guilty just the same.”

Waters has traveled several times to Cuba, where she praised dictator Fidel Castro and called for an end to the U.S. trade embargo against the Castro government. In a letter to Castro (quoted during an October 2, 1998 newscast on Radio Havana), she wrote that Castro had a perfect right to grant “political asylum” to U.S. citizens fleeing “political persecution.”

Racist? Well, does a black politician who supports Obama who openly says “He looks like me” qualify as racist? Nah, we all know that charges of racism are nothing more than disguised political opportunism.

Let’s stop letting the charge of “racist” sting us. It’s rendered meaningless is this contemporary political environment.

No problem here. Take a page from the history of the effort to restore the second amendment.

Charles D. (Chuckie) Schumer, the anti-gun nut that never stops giving was the most fun to ridicule. And the easiest....

The standard technique for countering Schumer’s was to discredit by simply publishing the verbatim text of his speeches and photo-ops with no editorial comment at all.

Similarily, the best defense against statements by Maxine Waters is to give her self-inflicted ridicule wide spread coverage.

By far the best example, not the only one, was when she nailed herself to the wall at the senate hearing on oil companies.

Just Google “Maxine Waters Socialized oil” and you’ll get a couple dozen links to video....

Maxine check this out!
A federal court jury convicted Jefferson on four bribery counts, three counts of money laundering, three counts of wire fraud and one count of racketeering. He was acquitted on five other counts including wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

Jefferson, a 62-year-old Democrat, was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 4, 2007, about two years after federal agents said they found the cash in his freezer. Authorities said the cash was part of a payment in marked bills from an FBI informant in a transaction captured on video.

Jefferson had pleaded not guilty. He faces a maximum possible sentence of 150 years in prison, with sentencing tentatively set for October 30.

Examples of incendiary rhetoric touching on racial overtones from some protesters have emerged on blogs in the days since the rally Hmmmm... it took these bozos three days of combing through everything said or written by 500,000 people to find something, ANYTHING, that might conceivably be viewed as "rhetoric TOUCHING on racial OVERTONES." Powerful stuff, there, liberal bloggers.

"What I'm looking for is the very people who carry the signs who are referring to the policies in very, very strange ways like 'Obamacare' and 'Barry Obamacare with Kennedy,'" she said. "What I've been interested in is hearing from those people that everybody's referring to -- everybody on the Mall, in the rally."

Well, I guess they did know there was a march on Saturday.

Actually, wouldn’t it be a good thing for the media to investigate what we have to say? She wants the “media” to investigate. Sounds to me like this would be a great thing, because they would actually have to air and print what we believe in and in the process show “the rest of the world” conservative principles are alive and they work. I doubt the media will take Waxie Maxie up on this challenge - it would not fit the narrative.

That would be great, then it would at least mean they would have to cover the rallies, sounds like a win win to me.

No one needs to probe Maxine to know she is a racist. Her hatred of white people is obvious.

Decent blacks must hang their heads in disgust when they hear racist blacks like Waters, Conyers, McKinney, Rangel and Sharpton take a brain dump in public and nothing comes out.

Actually, this is a very clever idea on her part. I’m sure the media would focus their interviews on the goofiest and nuttiest types present. Why, ACORN or other groups might plant some actors with scripts just to reinforce the idea that all these protestors are really klansmen.
