He’s done it before folks — a little over 30 years ago. My parents, their best man and his wife and my god parents went to see him here (I believe in Gas Light Square — that’s how long ago). He was up and coming and EVERYONE loved him. They were all prepared for a wonderful night out on the town, dinner and a show.
When Mr. Cosby walked out on the stage, he dumped a huge turd in their laps regarding the color of their skin and their “obvious” racism because they were white. My folks who were very active in the civil rights movement before it was “cool” were extremely offended and never spoke his name again. If came on TV, they’d turn the channel. This is not a new phase, just a return to the old.
