Thank You, Mo’ Green (not that mo green. make it movement green)
or as I also affectionately refer to them as.. GangGreen
Not high enough. They still have a budget deficit. Raise ‘em until they balance the budget.
I wonder if the airlines have already adopted the technique they used in 3rd world countries - you don’t fly into CA without enough fuel on board to fly out again...
I hears a lot of people are voting with their feet out there, meanwhile Texas Rangers are on the border down in Texas.
“or as I also affectionately refer to them as.. GangGreen”
Brilliant! With your permission, I beg to adapt this phrase. Gang Green, gang green, gang green!
LOL.
Have at it. ;-) It’s goes way back.. since aRnie took global varming to a different and devastating level.

I’m sure that they’ve worked out the numbers and if it makes economic sense, they will do it. Of course, this decreases the fuel efficiency of the airplanes, causing more fuel to be burned, while decreasing the revenue to California. Another fine example of how government intervention in the economy can help.
CA Rats and GangGreen is doing everything possible to drive up energy costs in CA. The latest drive to make X Percent renewable energy will result in much higher utility bills and that drives all other prices.
For my part..I say have at it. We are residents of CA now and have a very low utility bill and don’t do much driving, being retired close to all our friends and recreation.
We want to see the cities and states of CA go bankrupt. It is the only way that they will be reformed. It is the only thing that will reverse the trend of more illegals living off the wealth of others.
Very true. The purpose is to keep the air clean and healthy. That is also why permits for controlled burns are routinely ignored - too much in the way of particulates are relaesed during those burns. And then when we have stupendous fires that burn 100+ square miles of National Forest and coat the entire southland in ash it is just fine. Accidents happen, you know.
The trick would be to use a three-point route - say, Dulles to AZ to CA, then in reverse. So you only have to fly heavy the AZ-CA leg.
Just did a fuel price check between San Francisco and Arlington, TX using the same gas station brand Valero. Gas in SF $3.19, gas in Arlington, $2.21. Almost a $1 per gallon difference. No wonder California keeps sending business to Texas.

Clifornia is the poster boy state re what happens when Green Enviro Thugs control a state run by tax and spend left wingers.
Our designer gasoline (designed by economic terrorists) is too expensive to make for out of state refineries. So we can’t import gasoline from other states to create a competitive situation.
Gas prices for regular are well over $3/gallon. Of course the tax and spenders love high prices on gasoline because our outrageous sales tax is tacked on the added extra cost for our boutique and expensive gasoline versus gas prices in other states.
Wow. Policies have consequences.
Wow. I thought I got ripped off in Philly yesterday at $2.43 / gal.
Safeway is discontinuing a program where you could get anywhere from 10 cents to 40 cents off a gallon at their gas stations.
Generic stations yesterday were charging 3.139 a gallon and the big name gas stations were as high as 3.40 around town.
This is a spike into the heart of the California economy where we often have no real alternative to our vehicles.
I suppose all the truckers who bring food to the grocery stores and merchandise to the retailers are paying much more for their fuel, and this additional cost is passed onto California consumers in the form of higher prices?
